  This is a chill, local's favorite event. Come hang out on the beach and relax with us!

  Over 1,500 red flares illuminate Onset Bay!

  Bay View Park - Onset Beach

  Live music at The Gazebo with The South Coast Brass Band 7:30-9:30

  9:00 pm the Flares will be lit and will burn for approximately 30 minutes.

  There’s not a bad seat in the house, but the Main Beach and Bluffs are optimal viewing spots.

  Free to enjoy, but volunteers will be accepting donations to keep this event going. Thank you!

  THANK YOU to the Sandi Besse Family Trust for supporting this beloved event. This year, Illumination Night is in memory of Sandi. To know her, was to truly love her. She is deeply missed.

  Sandi followed in her family’s entrepreneurial footsteps, combining her love of community and business acumen to build a successful real estate agency, Shell Pointe Real Estate in Onset, which quickly became one of the premier real estate agencies in the area.
  

  Whenever asked, Sandi was always honored to serve her community. She was known for her infectious smile, loving spirit and commitment to the community through volunteerism. Recognized as Wareham Woman of the Year, Sandra’s contribution to Onset will be long remembered. Over the years, she was a member and one of the first Presidents of the Onset Bay Association, Onset Zoning Board, Wareham Finance Committee and Onset Prudential Committee.
  
  The best way to honor Sandi is to "Live like Sandi" with a bright light and kindness towards everyone you meet as she always did.

  2024 CHALK-FULL-O-FUN FESTIVAL!

  At the Lillian Gregerman Bandshell in Onset.

  
  

  ARTISTS  can register for a sidewalk square for $5. This will include a box of 36-count colorful soft pastel chalk.

  
  

  Crafters can register for a space at the juried craft fair for $65. This year we will accept a larger number of crafters for this popular event. They will be on hand with a variety of handmade items.

  
  

  Community organizations can register for $25 to provide information to share with the public. A limited number will be accepted.

• Harvest Moon Festival Vendor Application

  GREETINGS, VENDOR FRIENDS!

  We will be lining the entire perimeter of the park with vendors surrounding the Bandshell this year. (Bay View Park will be under construction)  See map below. Each square is a 10' x 10' spot. It will be marked on the grass with a number you will receive after I map this all out.

  Spaces 1-18 will be along Union Ave 

  Spaces 19-48 will be along Onset Ave. 

  Spaces 49-76 will be along Waban Ave

  Arrival Time on 9/28/2024 is 6 a.m.

  Vendor cars MUST be moved to Vendor Parking by 9:45 a.m. to accommodate for the incoming car show that will be lining Onset Ave and filling the Pier parking lot. 

  Free Vendor parking is available at the former Hammond School, inside the chain link fence, located behind the tennis courts on 10th St. There will be signs and volunteers to guide you. It is kitty corner across the street from the Festival grounds and a quick walk. 13 Highland Ave

  Departure time:

  Begins at 5:00 p.m. Please pack up all your things BEFORE you get your car to load out. It's going to be a little hectic. There will be volunteers to keep an eye on your wares.

  Antique/Classic Car Show presented by The Rusty Nuts Car Club of Wareham... PARTICIPANTS; Please arrive before 10 a.m. Space is limited to 300 cars. Dash Plaques for the first 100 cars! FREE admission!

  Over 100 Craft, Merchandise and Service vendors will line the perimeter of Prospect Park (where the Bandshell is) AND across Onset Ave in Bay View Park (where the gazebo is) See map below...

  RESTROOMS-Are available on the Town Pier/Harbormaster's Office and also in Prospect/Bandshell Park up on the hill by the Bayside Condos. There will also be a number of ADA accessible port-o-potties available on the Pier.

  FREE PARKING:

  Limited street parking available (Please, be mindful of Residential/Permitted areas! You will get a ticket)

  Temple Lot on Union Ave; Hynes Field, next to Chuck's Auto (281 Onset Ave); Lopes Field (behind the playground at 248 Onset Ave)
